Since “turning pro” as a storyteller in 1992, David Leibowitz’s stops have included writing columns for The Trentonian newspaper, the East Valley (AZ) Tribune and the Arizona Republic; radio gigs for KTAR and KFYI (Arizona’s two largest news/talk stations); and TV commentaries for KPNX (Channel 12), KNXV (Channel 15) and KTVK (Channel 3). In that time, he’s been named the state’s best news columnist, best sports columnist, best feature columnist and best radio host and he’s covered the biggest stories in America, from political conventions to September 11th, the O.J. Simpson verdict to the Columbine shootings.

Simply put, if there’s a story that bears telling, David Leibowitz has told it.

That real-world experience proved especially helpful when David shifted industries in 2005, moving from daily journalism to the world of marketing and political consulting. As Vice President and Creative Director at Moses Anshell, helped lead the agency to more than 75 local, regional and national awards, working in every medium and on clients ranging from the Arizona Office of Tourism to U.S. Airways, Taser, Nintendo and the Arizona’s Citizens Clean Elections Commission.

Since starting Leibowitz Solo in 2009, David’s client list has included winning statewide ballot initiatives like Yes on 100 (to generate revenue for education and public safety) and No on 302 (preventing the Legislature from gutting First Things First). He’s written speeches for Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer and handled media relations and messaging for Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon. The Arizona Fraternal Order of Police, the Professional Fire Fighters of Arizona, the Gila River Indian Community, Arizona State University and national corporations like Dice Holdings and the GEO Group have all benefited from David’s storytelling expertise.
